Driven by a passion for texture and inspired by the world in which we live. Textures often represent organic surfaces or stylized botanical images.
The most frequently used technique is etching. Most designs and patterns are hand-drawn directly on sheet metal. Other designs are drawn on paper and scanned or generated via computer to produce digital images. Digital images are output to various paper-like products which are heat transferred to the metal surface. Once the sheet metal has its design, it is placed in an etching solution. After etching, the metal is fabricated and/or formed and then finished into a final piece.
